May Competition

We think everyone is familiar with our monthly competition by now.
It’s May, which means…it’s time to send your competition entries in.

We’ve been very impressed with the quality of the winning images so far and we’re confident it will make for a super calendar! This images below show the winners to date.

Now is your cue to draw an image with ‘May’ as the theme. Perhaps this is your favourite month and the one you’ve been holding out for! It’s important to express what this month means to you. It’s not only about ice-cream!

Incase you haven’t been following, the plan is to create a 2017 calendar full of images from the Maglus Community. The winning entry for each month will be featured in the calendar. If you love to sketch or have ambitions to be the next big thing in the art world, get involved! PLUS…

Tinker Hatfield

It is extremely rewarding for us when we see talented, influential people using Maglus.
There’s something really special about seeing someone you admire using your product. It’s a huge achievement for a small company, when your product manages to reach extraordinary individuals.

One such person is Tinker Hatfield. The iconic designer is famed for his association with Nike Athletic shoes spanning more than thirty years.

In 1998, Hatfield was named as one of the “100 Most Influential Designers” of the 20th century by Fortune magazine. Vice President for Design and Special Projects at Nike, Hatfield is considered a legend in design circles.

A Little Treat…Stunning Seaside Silhouette

We’re always encouraging Maglus users to get in touch with us. It’s great when people share their work and show us what they’ve achieved with Maglus. Through this communication, we have developed relationships with really talented(and nice!) individuals, who we now call ‘Friends of Maglus’.

One such friend is Yvonne J Foster. We originally shared a version of this blog post a few months ago and got a brilliant response. Since then, we know there are lots of new Maglus users. We thought it would make sense to showcase this beautiful content once again.
