Teachers and parents know that early exposure to holding and using a writing tool is important for a child’s motor skill development and their ability to learn to read. Moving from finger-touch learning to holding a pencil is a major milestone, especially those entering preschool and kindergarten.
Children learn to use touch screen devices at a young age, usually without our permission, we then quickly give them to our children in restaurants when their boredom level rises or at home- just to get those valuable few minutes of down-time after a long day.
My 28 month old loves the Maglus Stylus and he is eager to try out the early learning apps that I have downloaded or bought, of course this now means I need his permission to use my tablet and I know I will eventually have to buy a second Maglus and tablet for my own use. Starting next week, I will be reviewing app’s suitable for children to use with the Maglus Stylus.
Top tip : I use the “all cleaning baby wipes” for cleaning the screen on my tablet and the silicone tip on the Maglus Stylus- they work perfectly.
