And the Winner is…

Chris Davies!

Paula here, that’s me in the image above with Chris’s winning entry printed on the wall of our Dublin office. Welcome to our space. Here is where the magic happens!
This competition has been lots of fun, we even got some artwork for our walls from it!

We were thrilled with the amazing response and the high standard of entries we received from our ‘Drawing Competition’. Our overall winner was Chris Davies and his excellent entry – ‘Beaky Blinder’. His ‘Beaky Blinder’ image reflects his local – Birmingham & Black Country. He turned a Wren into a character from TV show ‘Peaky Blinders’. He created the image using a Maglus on Procreate App for iPad.

We thought it was a really clever and unique idea. Well done Chris!

Helen Adams and Yvonne Foster claimed a well deserved Second and Third place.

A Flock of Drawings!

We’ve been overwhelmed with the response to our competition. It’s a pleasure to look at the artworks created with Maglus – our product! We always knew the Maglus community were a talented bunch but you really have outdone yourselves this time!

We wanted to round up some of the entries we’ve received so far for you to enjoy.

Competition Extension!

It turns out that Luke’s ‘bird’ drawing and our competition launch last week was a massive hit with you guys! Spurred on by the positive response we received, we have decided to extend the competition deadline. Luke has also been encouraged to keep sketching. Another of his ‘bird’ drawings is featured in this post!

To give everyone enough time to enter, we are excepting entries until Monday 26/10/2015.

Chris Hadfield, a Space Oddity

We’ve a guest blogger this week: accomplished digital designer Sailesh Vaghela walks us though the creation of his breathtaking winning entry to our Draw Chris Hadfield competition.

Hi my name is Sailesh, I created the winning entry for the Chris Hadfield competition set up by the fine people at Applydea. The competition was to create a piece of art using the Maglus stylus, and to have Chris Hadfield as the main focus.

This blog post will explain some of the processes in how I created my winning piece, all done with the awesome Maglus stylus.
