Zumbo’s Early Learning App

This week’s app is Zumbo’s Early Learning and it is on sale in the Google app store for $1.25 at the time of writing this post, in fact it has been on sale since January and probably even longer.

Description

This app teaches children the basic’s of how letters and numbers work and sound, it also teaches them how to write them. Along with letters and numbers, the app also includes sections for Colors, Shapes and Animals, it is a big hit with our little Maglus Stylus user at home.

This is really good all round app for children between the ages of 2-6 yrs, especially at the price of $1.25. There are plenty of options in each section and great to use with the stylus, helping children to trace out the shape of letters and numbers. My little guy (28 months old) is already improving at tracing numbers using the stylus and he now stores the stylus by sticking it to the Fridge for safe keeping. He loves the Star reward system in the app and the more writes on the tablet, the less he writes on the walls.

Top tip; The micro-fibre tip is very durable, our little guy has chewed it every-time he has used the Maglus for the last six weeks and it still works as well as it did the first day I used it.

Scott's two year old already monopolizes his smartphone and Android tablet, so Scott wants him to learn how to write and draw using the Maglus Stylus. This will hopefully mean less re-decorating of the house, as he likes using crayons on the walls when the paper's all used up. That's his son, not Scott. When he's not helping customers get the most from their Maglus Stylus, Scott likes to mountain bike, hike, swim, and spend time in the park with his family.
