Competition Extension!

It turns out that Luke’s ‘bird’ drawing and our competition launch last week was a massive hit with you guys! Spurred on by the positive response we received, we have decided to extend the competition deadline. Luke has also been encouraged to keep sketching. Another of his ‘bird’ drawings is featured in this post!

To give everyone enough time to enter, we are excepting entries until Monday 26/10/2015.

Hello from China – (part 2!)

While I was in China and when I got a couple of minutes, I spent a little time working on a new product idea I have been thinking about. Its really amazing how quickly an idea can be developed when working in Shenzhen. As with all product ideas they need to be fleshed out with some sketching and for this I use my trusty Maglus with Graphite Tip and Notebook.

In the case of this particular project it has already been established what the product will do, in this
picture a map has been made to show how it will work. Once I got this work done I could hit the markets and find some components for the electronic components.

Hello from China…

We know that everyone enjoys hearing about the people behind the products. So with this in mind, this week’s post comes from Noel Joyce, one of the designers of the Maglus Stylus. Noel is a really great guy and has been involved with lots of interesting projects. He’s always very busy and I’m not quite sure how he fits everything in! Luckily for us, he had some time to write a few words following his recent trip to China…

I am just back from China where when I am not doing design work on Applydea products I do work on projects at Haxlr8r, the worlds premier and best Hardware acceleration program.

An artist’s insight to using Maglus – Susan Muratugh

Happy Monday guys, Paula here. I thought it was appropriate to share this feel good post today and get the week off to a positive start. So, read on and enjoy!

In the short time I’ve been working at Maglus, I’ve realised that the Maglus customers are more than ‘customers’. They’re loyal followers and supporters who genuinely care about our brand. Interacting with these lovely people is what I view as a perk of my job. An example being, US Artist – Susan Murtaugh. I’ve only been chatting to Susan a few weeks, but am hugely impressed by her amazing art and warm personality! I was surprised and equally delighted to receive a glowing review of Maglus from her. Rest assured, she took the time to write the content below without being asked(harassed or bribed!)

As the saying goes – “Its nice to be important, but more important to be nice”
So here at Maglus, it goes without saying that we’ll continue to be nice. If every customer is half as satisfied as Susan, we’ll be doing something right!
